Hiking Norway by Boat
White sand beaches, giant walls of granite, bright blue waters, orcas, reindeer, wildflowers, and the land of midnight sun. This trip is what dreams are made of. Hiking the Dolomites
Hiking here is a trekker’s dream. Bordering Austria and Switzerland, these northern Italian Alps cover some 350,000 acres of mountainous terrain. The Dolomites are a world wonder for good reason. Traverse rocky ridge lines, meadows teaming with wildflowers, and swim in crystalline alpine lakes while staying in charming villages and mountain huts.

Climb the Grand Teton (13,775')
Towering above Jackson Hole at 13,775 feet, the Grand Teton is one of North America’s most famous and coveted summits. A climb on this iconic peak is never easy, and a successful ascent is a memorable achievement. Based on your experience and interests, there are a variety of route and itinerary options. Trips include a training and preparation day and a summit attempt can be made in one or two days depending on weather, fitness, and experience.

Alpine Climbing in the Tetons
Aside from the Grand Teton, there are many other worthy climbing objectives in the Tetons. My personal favorite is climbing Mt.Moran- an adventure that includes a canoe paddle across Leigh Lake, some serious scrambling to a remote high camp on the mountain, and one of the best summits in the range. Whether you are interested in learning to climb, taking the family climbing, or compeleting the Grand Traverse (a traverse of the major peaks in the Cathedral Group of the Tetons), the Tetons host a climbing experience for every level.

Alpine Climbing in the Wind River Range
From the Cirque of the Towers to Gannet Peak, the Wind River Range offers a variety of remote, alpine climbing experiences. Most trips require at least a full day to approach the climbing area which makes it worth spending between 5-7 days in the range. The option exists to have horses pack climbing equipment in, or to carry it ourselves. From summiting Gannet Peak (the highest mountain in Wyoming) to climbing in one of the many beautiful high alpine cirques, traveling and climbing in the Winds is an unforgettable experience.

Rock Climbing in City of Rocks
The City of Rocks is a spectacular granite pluton in the middle of southern Idaho. There are hundreds of rock climbs from moderate to severe in difficulty and from one pitch to six pitches in length, though most are shorter. The climbing is on wildly weathered granite spires, knobs, walls and slabs of some of the oldest exposed rock in North America. Legendary for its beautiful camping, this is a great adventure for kids, dogs, friends, and anyone else who wants to join.

Rock Climbing in Sinks Canyon and Wild Iris
Sinks Canyon, located on the flanks of the Wind River Mountains just outside of Lander, WY is home to some of the best limestone sport climbing in the world. With excellent camping or lodging opportunities in Lander, this is an amazing place to work on your physical and mental strength in climbing. It is a great venue for an early spring, fall, or even winter getaway to get a lot of pitches of climbing with almost no approach.
